Women's Basketball
The women's basketball program continues to be near the top of Region III and Division II of the NJCAA year after year. The Lady Pioneers have made appearances in the Region III Division II Final Four in seventeen of the past nineteen years.
In 2011-12, the Lady Pioneers finished 18-9 and advanced to the Regional Final Four. Four players were named All-Region and All-WNYAC. Haley Witchella was named the Region III Division II Player of the Year and head coach Gina Boyd was named Coach of the Year.

Karley Fanning (Bishop Kearney) scored 25 points and grabbed eight rebounds as the Alfred State women's basketball team downed Genesee CC 81-35 in a Region III Division II contest. The Lady Pioneers improve to 11-6 overall and 3-1 in RIII DII play.
Monroe CC earned their 12th straight victory 93-51 over Alfred State on Saturday evening. The Lady Tribunes are now 13-4 on the year while the Lady Pioneers are 10-6.
Erie CC jumped out to a 14-2 lead and held a 32-18 halftime lead but had to hold off a valiant comeback attempt by Alfred State in a 61-53 victory. The Lady Kats improve to 12-4, 3-0 Region III Division II while the Lady Pioneers are 10-5, 2-1.
