Women's Basketball

The women's basketball program continues to be near the top of Region III and Division II of the NJCAA year after year. The Lady Pioneers have made appearances in the Region III Division II Final Four in fifteen of the past seventeen years.
In 2009-10, the Lady Pioneers finished 11-16. Two players were named All-Region and two named All-WNYAC. Brittney Brooks became the program's all-time leading scorer accumulating 1,046 points in her two-year career.

The Alfred State College athletic department presented their annual end-of-year athletic awards during a ceremony held at the Lake Lodge on May 3rd. The athlete of the year, sportsmanship, leadership, academic, and William Havens awards were presented.
Alfred State College sophomores Brittney Brooks (Elmira Free) and Shawna McNeil (Hornell) have been named to the Region III Division II All-Region team. Brooks was a 1st team selection while McNeil was a 2nd team selection.
Erie CC used a strong second half to advance to the Region III Division II Tournament semfinals with a 76-61 victory over Alfred State. The Kats will take on Jamestown CC on Saturday while the Lady Pioneers finish the campaign with a 11-16 record.
