2008: 4th place NJCAA Division III & 2008 Region III Division III Champions2008: 4th Place NJCAA Division IIIThe Alfred State volleyball team has been reborn the past few seasons as the Lady Pioneers have emerged as one of the top programs in Region III and in the whole NJCAA. ASC has made five straight trips to the Region III Division III Tournament after not making the tournament since the 1990s.
In 2008, ASC made its second straight trip to the National Championships after winning the Region III Championship. The team finished the season 4th in the nation with a 38-4 mark, best in school history. Two Lady Pioneers were named NJCAA All-American, one was named Region III player of the year, three were named All-Region, and four were named All-WNYAC.
The volleyball team has a 106-13 record during the past three seasons.

Alfred State College freshman setter Brittany Haines (Salamanca) has earned another post-season honor. This past weekend, Haines was named All-Region 1st team after helping the Lady Pioneers to a 20-14 overall record.
The #6 seeded Alfred State College volleyball team finished 1-2 in pool play at the Region III Division III Championships on Saturday. The Lady Pioneers finish their 2009 campaign with a 20-14 overall record.
Alfred State College freshman volleyball player Brittany Haines (Salamanca) has been named first team All-WNYAC. The Pioneers currently are 19-12 (17-10 in Region III Division III play) heading into this weekend's Region III Division III Tournament.
