2009 Indoor Regional ChampionsThe indoor and outdoor track & field programs at Alfred State are competing year after year for Regional Championships and continuing to place high in NJCAA National competition.
In 2009, the men's indoor track and field team won its third straight regional championship. The outdoor team finished as Regional runner-ups. At nationals, the indoor team finished 14th overall while the outdoor team was 4th.
On the women's side the team finished 3rd in the region indoors and 4th during the outdoor season. At nationals, the Lady Pioneers finished 7th in the nation outdoors.
In total, the track and field program produced nine All-Americans, including the program's second indoor All-American, and 12 All-Region athletes.

The Alfred State College indoor track & field team had a strong showing at the Syracuse University Invitational on Saturday. The Pioneers competed versus a field that featured Division I and Division III competition.
The Alfred State College indoor track and field team competed at the Colgate University Class of '32 Invitational on Saturday. The Pioneers competed versus numerous NCAA Division I and III competition along with their NJCAA Region III foes.
The indoor track & field team fared well at the Mary Phillips Invitational at SUNY Fredonia on Saturday. The Pioneers had numerous more athletes qualify for Regionals as they competed versus the Blue Devils, Alfred University, and Erie CC.
