Robert Haley has led the swimming program for the past five seasons. He has led the men's team to the NJCAA non-scholarship National title in 2008 and back-to-back-to back runner-up finishes at the Northeast Districts between 2007-2009.
The 2011 men's squad finished 5th at the Northeast District and 11th at the NJCAA National Championships while the women finished 9th at districts and 16th at nationals.
Haley is a graduate of Alfred State College. He received his associate degree in Landscape Development and Ornamental Horticulture.
While attending ASC, Haley swam one season. During that season he swam the 50, 100, 200 freestyle and the 100 and 200 backstroke. He was also a key member of several relay teams. At the NJCAA National Championships, Haley earned All-American honors in seven different events.
Haley works as the Alfred State College landscaper and is responsible for overseeing the maintenance of the athletic fields. He lives in Hornell with his wife Bobbi Jo and four children, Lillian, Cullen, Molly, and Allisa.
