Giglio Does the FlyThe Alfred State swimming program has been climbing up the ranks of Region III and the NJCAA each season. 

The men's team won the NJCAA non-scholarship National Championship in 2008, finished second in the non-scholarship rankings in 2009, and has been Region III runner-up the past three of the past five seasons. 

The women's team continues to improve.  In 2008, the Lady Pioneers were 3rd at the Regional Championships. 

During the 2011-12 season, the men finished 12th at Nationals and 4th at the Northeast Districts.  The women's team finished 10th at districts.  Four athletes swam to All-Region honors

Alfred State swimmer Mark Pendleton (Beacon) has been named the Alfred State athlete of the week. Pendleton and the Pioneers dove into the 2013 schedule this past week with competitions at Wells College and Monroe CC.

Men 4th, Women 5th at Monroe Invite

The Alfred State men's swimming team finished 4th out of six teams at the Monroe CC Invitational. The women's team finished 5th.
