Alfred State College is a member of and competes in the National Junior College Athletic Association (NJCAA), Region III of the NJCAA, and the Western New York Athletic Conference (WNYAC). The College boasts of a successful athletics program, both athletically and academically.

Jamestown CC was able to hold off all the comeback attempts Alfred State threw at them and held on for a 62-55 victory in a tight WNYAC contest. The Pioneers are now 6-14 on the year and 1-6 in conference play.
The Alfred State women's basketball team played another tight Region III Division II contest and fell 57-54 at Jamestown CC on Thursday. The Lady Pioneers are now 10-8 overall and 1-3 in RIII DII action.
Mercyhurst North East won the final four matches of the evening as they defeated Alfred State 38-15 in the Pioneers final home dual of the season. Alfred is now 4-4 (1-4 WNYAC) on the season in dual action while Mercyhurst is now 5-6 (5-1 WNYAC).
