Athletic Fields Alfred State College is a member of and competes in the National Junior College Athletic Association (NJCAA), Region III of the NJCAA, the Western New York Athletic Conference (WNYAC), and the Northeast Football Conference. The College boasts of a successful athletics program, both athletically and academically.

ASC finishes 3rd in Director's Cup and 7th in NATYCAA Cup

The Alfred State College athletic program had strong showings in both the Region III Director's Cup and the NATYCAA (National Alliance of Two-Year College Athletic Administrators). The Pioneers finished 3rd in the Directors Cup and 7th in the scholarship division of the NATYCAA Cup.

Jerome Named WNYAC Co-Senior Athlete of the Year

Alfred State College standout volleyball player Jenni Jerome (Syracuse/Westhill) has been named the Western New York Athletic Conference co-senior female athlete of the year. She shares the honor with Lindsay Grace (Monroe CC) and Kari Barmore (Jamestown CC).

Alfred State releases Fall Schedules

The Alfred State College athletic department has published the 2009 fall athletic schedules. Athletes will begin reporting to campus in the middle of August with games beginning the last weekend of August.
