In his twelve years as head basketball coach at Alfred State, Jerry Jusianiec has led the Pioneer basketball program to nine regional tournament appearances and an average of 14.5 wins a season. During his tenure at Alfred State the Pioneers have a 174-175 record. In five of the past seven seasons the team has won more that 16 games. Jusianiec has the second most wins of any ASC men's basketball coach in the history of the program (Dick Giedlin - 198).
Prior to coming to Alfred State, Jusianiec was an assistant coach at Division II LeMoyne College (Syracuse, NY) and Division III schools Washington & Lee University (Lexington, VA), and SUNY Potsdam.
Coach Jusianiec played collegiately at Elmira College where he was a four year starter and MVP his senior year.
Jusianiec also serves as the athletic department's facility manager. He and his wife Melissa and their sons Maxwell and Jack and their daughter Isabel live in Alfed.
