In his ten years as head basketball coach at Alfred State, Jerry Jusianiec has led the Pioneer basketball program to eight regional tournament appearances and an average of 15.7 wins a season. During his tenure at Alfred State the Pioneers have a 157-134 record. The past five seasons the team has won more that 16 games and have reached the Regional Tournament each year. In 2008-09, the Pioneers were 17-14 and won the program's first playoff game in over ten years.
Prior to coming to Alfred State, Jusianiec was an assistant coach at Division II LeMoyne College (Syracuse, NY) and Division III schools Washington & Lee University (Lexington, VA), and SUNY Potsdam.
Coach Jusianiec played collegiately at Elmira College where he was a four year starter and MVP his senior year.
Jusianiec also serves as the athletic department's facility manager. He and his wife Melissa and their sons Maxwell and Jack live in Alfed.
