Men's Basketball
The Alfred State College Basketball team has become one of the hardest working teams in Region III. The Pioneers have won more than 16 games in five of the past six seasons and have made six straight trips to the Region III Division II Tournament.
The 2009-10 squad finished the season with a 12-18 mark. One player was named All-Region and two were named All-WNYAC.

The Alfred State College athletic department presented their annual end-of-year athletic awards during a ceremony held at the Lake Lodge on May 3rd. The athlete of the year, sportsmanship, leadership, academic, and William Havens awards were presented.
Alfred State College sophomore Neil Wilson (Ft. Worth, TX) has been named to the second team of the Basketball Coaches Association of New York All-NYS Junior College team. Earlier in the year, Wilson was named 1st team All-Region and 1st team All-WNYAC.
Alfred State College sophomore guard Neil Wilson (Ft. Worth, TX) has been named 1st team All-Region. Wilson led the Pioneers to a 12-18 mark and the #4 seed in the Region III Division II Tournament. Rasean Parris (Brooklyn/Benjamin Banneker) joined Wilson on the All-WNYAC team.
