The Alfred State College Basketball team has become one of the hardest working teams in Region III. The Pioneers have won more than 16 games in five of the past seven seasons and have made six trips to the Region III Division II Tournament in the past seven years.
The 2010-11 squad played tough all season but struggled to pull out victories and finished the season with a 5-23 mark. Two players were named All-WNYAC.
