Todd Weil has been at the helm of the lacrosse program at Alfred State the past two seasons. He joined the Pioneer staff in February of 2006 and has a 10-15 record during that time. His 2007 team started the season ranked #9 in the NJCAA poll.
Weil most recently was the head lacrosse coach at SUNY Cobleskill (Fall 2004 – January 2006). He also has served as the assistant lacrosse coach at SUNY Cortland (Summer 2003 – Spring 2004).
Prior to beginning his collegiate coaching career, Weil served as a teacher and a coach at the New York Military Academy (Spring 1998 – Spring 2001) and at Trinity Pawling School (Fall 2001 – Spring 2003). At these positions he coached football, hockey, and lacrosse.
Weil, a graduate of Skaneateles High School, earned a bachelor’s of science degree in health education from SUNY Cortland. As a defenseman on the lacrosse field he played one season at Alfred University, one season at Washington (MD) College, and two seasons at SUNY Cortland.
At Alfred State Weil is also the college’s soccer coach and a teacher in the physical education department.
