Lacrosse
The lacrosse program at Alfred State has been near the top of Region III and the NJCAA for the past decade. The program has made eight trips to the Regional Tournament in the past ten years and eight Pioneers have earned NJCAA All-American honors.
The 2010 Pioneers finished 5-9. Three players were honored with All-Region selections while four players were named All-WNYAC.

Four members of the 2010 Alfred State College lacrosse team have earned All-WNYAC honors. Ryan Speciale (Corning West) and Chase Bailey (Corning West) were named to the 1st team while James Moss (Hilton) and Nick Young (West Seneca West) were 2nd team selections.
Alfred State College sophomores Ryan Speciale (Corning West), Chase Bailey (Corning West), and Michael Fingar (Shenendehowa) were all named All-Region. Speciale was a first team selection whil Bailey and Fingar were honorable mention.
The Alfred State College athletic department presented their annual end-of-year athletic awards during a ceremony held at the Lake Lodge on May 3rd. The athlete of the year, sportsmanship, leadership, academic, and William Havens awards were presented.
