Intramural Rules: 5 on 5 Basketball

1. All teams must have at least 4 players to start a game and they must have at least 3 players to finish the game.
2. Technicals are automatically 3 points plus the ball.
3. All games are two continuous 15 minute halves.  The clock will stop on time outs and in the last minute of the game.
4. Each team is allowed 2 time outs per game.
5. Overtime is 2 minutes of running time.  Time outs do carry over to overtime, but no additional time outs are given.
6. The bonus rule will be in effect on the seventh foul.  The bonus is 1 and 1.
7. Stalling is not permitted.
8. Technical fouls count as a personal foul.
9. Three point field goals will be in effect at all times.
10. Regular IAABO Basketball rules will be used except for any modifications indicated.
11. If a player is ejected from a game he or she is not allowed to play in the next game that is played.
12. If a player receiveds 2 technicals during a game, they are automatically ejected.
13. If a team receives 3 technicals they are automatically forfeiting.
