DeJesus End Zone Interception The Alfred State football program has proven itself as a contender in the very competitive Northeast Football Conference. The Pioneers have finished .500 or above in four of the past nine seasons.

In 2008, the team opened up a brand new on-campus field and earned a 4-5 record. Seven Pioneers were named to the All-NFC team.

Trailing 35-7 with under eleven minutes remaining Alfred State College put forth a valiant comeback but was unable to make it all the way back. Dean College improves to 8-1 (3-1 NFC) with the 35-27 victory at Pioneer Stadium.

Turnovers Prove Costly to Pioneers

Five Alfred State College turnovers led to two touchdowns for Lackawanna College in the Falcons 29-19 victory at Pioneer Stadium on Saturday. The Pioneers are now 3-4 (0-3 NFC) while the Falcons improve to 5-2 (3-1 NFC).

ASC Falls at Hudson Valley

The Alfred State College football got on the board first but was unable to score again and fell 35-7 to Hudson Valley CC in Troy, NY on Saturday afternoon. The Pioneers fall to 3-3 (0-2 NFC) on the season while the Vikings improve to 4-3 (3-2 NFC).
