In the opener, three Tribune pitchers combined on a two-hitter while the MCC offense collected ten hits. Steve Muoio led Monroe with a 3 for 4, 2 RBI performance. The Tribunes scored two in the 1st, one in the 5th, and three in the 6th. Rueben Angeles (George Washington) and Kelvin Espinosa (George Washington) each collected singles for ASC.

After Jamestown's Jen Territo gave the Jayhawks a 1-0 lead four minutes into the game Holly Fitzpatrick (Hornell) tied the game up eight minutes later when she scored after getting a pass from Hannah.

Zak Williamson (Rocky Point) led the men's team with a 8th place finish overall. He completed the 8K race in 27:06.5. 126 runners and 11 teams competed in the race. ASC finished with 191 while University of Rochester won with 43.

The Vikings got on the board on their first drive of the contest. Dan McLaughlin connected with Eugene Cooper on a 23-yard pass play to cap a 45-yard drive. The drive was set up by a 39 yard opening kickoff return by Cooper.

Dustin Falkner (Letchworth) scored both goals for the Pioneers. He netted a goal in the 1st half after getting a pass from Dom Bisone (Tonawanda). Falkner's 2nd half goal was assisted by Jordan Angie (Marion).

The Pioneers won both the men's and women's titles at the Alfred State College Invitational on Saturday. Zak Williamson (Rocky Point) won the men's title while Rhea Cosay (White River, AZ) was the top female finishing 4th. The men were ranked 7th in last week's poll.

Corbin returned the opening kickoff 78 yards for a score and then returned a punt 50 yards for another score less than four minutes later. He finished the day with 163 all-purpose yards. Corbin has now scored three special teams touchdowns in the last two weeks.
