Morgan Presher, class of '12

“Alfred State totally changed my outlook. I came here very shy. I learned to open up and how to communicate. It even strengthened my family relationships.”

Morgan PresherMorgan joined several clubs including the Pioneer Woodsmen’s Club. In the spring 2012 intercollegiate woodsmen lumberjack games, he and fellow teammates took fourth. “The club taught me even more about personal discipline. You get out of things what you put in.”

Last spring, Morgan worked as an intern at Zippo Manufacturing Company. When he graduates in May, he’ll work full-time for Zippo as a mechanical design engineer.

“Alfred State prepared me for the real world. That’s why Zippo invited me back. I really benefited from my time spent here.”
