Whatever your passion may be Alfred State College encourages you to develop your talents and skills no matter what field you choose. Employers hire nontraditional graduates to fulfill their Equal Employment/Affirmative Action goals. Your opportunities will be endless!

What is a Nontraditional Career?

Did you know that a career as a lawyer for women used to be nontraditional? By definition nontraditional means 25% or less of one gender is employed in this field. Our goal is to reverse the trend of current nontraditional curriculums and make them traditional for both genders.
