The ASC Drama Club presented a show over the weekend, "You're a Good Man, Charlie Brown". I'm not just saying this, but I think it was one of the best performances I've ever seen at Alfred State. It is a day made up of little tidbits from all the days of Charlie Brown from different seasons and events, and all based on the original comic strips. Drama club picked out the funniest scenes to use! Bravo Drama club!
Hope everyone had a good week and is ready for a some fun on Halloween weekend! This week I would like to take the time to talk about some of the late night events that are hosted throughout the semester. The Late Night Events crew does a fantastic job of putting on fun events for students here at Alfred State, making Alfred a great place for students to have a fun time, while at the same time giving students a nice escape from class work every now and then.
Last night was an RA program... Fondue party!!! Who would have thought the building owned a fondue set?
My roommate and I helped out by cutting up fresh pineapple and fruit for the chocolate fondue. It was a lot of fun, and perfect for taking the edge off after a long day of school work.

I can’t believe this is my last year of college! It’s been one heck of a ride; some things I will never forget. I figured I would give everyone an idea of what it’s like to go thru 4 years of college. Hopefully it will help whoever is reading this too really “get right in there” and make their experience the best they possibly can; I know I am pretty close to it. I guess the best place to start is from the beginning, enjoy.
Hello Everyone! I hope you all had a terriffic week and are ready to have a nice relaxing weekend. I know I worked hard enough to earn myself some relaxation this weekend! During this past week, I spoke with one of my friends with whom I went to high school with. He attends a big college up in Rochester, and he could not seem to comprehend how I have any fun going to school at Alfred State College.
The halloween party I was going to in Deleware got cancelled. And right after I bought my costume :(
If all else fails, the RAs in my dorm are hosting a halloween party too. Games, prizes, bobbing for apples, and all of that old stuff I used to do as a kid. I think I enjoy that type of thing more now that I'm an adult, haha (gotta appreciate the little things in life) And who wouldn't go for the free stuff??
