Description:

Upon satisfactory completion of this course, the students will use the horizontal and vertical mill in a safe manner, perform various external and internal operations including drilling, power tapping, milling of slots, keyways, boring, laying out bolt circles using x and y coordinates. Students will write accurate step-by-step procedures and use math formulas to correctly calculate machine time and be able to draw basic prints for machining purposes.
