Description:

This course introduces fundamental concepts of visual communications involved in understanding and controlling the performance of text and image elements in a field. Emphasis will be on the creative process of making images that can convey ideas and information to others. Different communication theories will be applied to student work to assess intent and outcome. This course, also, introduces students to color theories, attributes of color, and materials of color along with an emphasis on computer color. Studio projects will provide practice and application of color theories.
