CIAT 2403 with "C" or better
CIAT 3203 Interactive Authoring, introduces the student to the skill of creating interactive software programs suitable for use and publication in the interactive CD-ROM marketplace (i.e. multimedia encyclopedias, games, textbooks, and similar learning tools on disk). The course focuses on learning the interactive authoring/animation program "Macromedia Director." Emphasis is on interactive design, authoring guidelines, and the Lingo programming language. In the course, the student will acquire the skills to design and develop a standalone, interactive program.
