An introduction to personal finance covering the areas that are necessary for an individual to make better financial decisions throughout their lifetime. Topics include: developing financial statements, plans, and budgets, time value of money, money management, credit management, understanding taxes, insurance, investments, retirement planning, and estate planning. Computer, business calculator applications and case studies will be used throughout the course.
