AGEC - Agriculture Economics Business

Alfred State courses are grouped into the following sections:

  • AGEC 3213 - Farm & Rural Bus Management

    Both the production management and financial management of a rural or farm business are studied in this course. The course emphasizes the skills needed to manage a profitable business including analysis of financial statements, record keeping, key production management areas, leadership and decision-making skills. The relationship between good management performance and financial success will be stressed. Basic management processes, financial records, and analysis required to manage a farm or rural business will be studied.

  • AGEC 4303 - Rural Business Finance

    Both the production management and financial management of a farm business are studied in this course. The course emphasizes the skills needed to manage a profitable business including analysis of financial statements, record keeping, key production management areas, and leadership and decision-making skills. The relationship between good management performance and financial success will be stressed.
