“As a member of the Alfred State College faculty since 1974, I get constant pleasure in the classroom. I like being part of my students’ first experience at college and being the one who adds to their technical education by introducing them to the humanities.

“I appreciate that teaching is valued at Alfred State, and I am proud of the quality of instruction here. Classes are small enough for me to know my students. It is possible for me to talk to and to know my students as individuals.

“When I came to teach at Alfred State, I felt as if I had come home.”
