Alfred State is pleased to be able to offer a special post-conference workshop on Change Leadership for Education for Sustainability with our keynote speaker, Leith Sharp.
The workshop, which takes place on Saturday, June 8, from 1-5 p.m. (immediately after the main conference), will give participants access to what has been discovered in a consultation of over 1,000 sustainability engaged faculty around the world about the change management challenge of driving sustainability into the curriculum. What are the faculty out in front on this effort experiencing and why? What capabilities seem to make change more possible? What are the organizational barriers we must traverse and how are people doing that? What needs to happen next to accelerate the momentum of change? Building from these findings, the workshop will engage participants in a guided peer to peer dialogue designed to foster thought partnership, exploration, and development of their change leadership role as it relates to the work of driving sustainability into the curriculum.
The cost of this workshop is $100. Participation is capped at 25, so please register soon to ensure you can take part. Register now.
Registration for this workshop is independent of registration for the main conference so please be sure to register for the main conference as well if you plan to participate in both.
